animated tiled floor
by Richard Quinn on Jun 30, 2009 at 7:41:48 pm

Hi,

I want to create an animated tile floor and would be grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction on how to animate it.

I want the tiles to appear as the camera moves along creating a curvy path of tiles.

I want the tiled floor to consist of about 10 tiles across its width.

Any help would be great.

Cheers,

Rich

Use a Spline for the path /
Use a Rectangle Spline for the floor /
Drag both into a Sweep NURBS Object /
Apply a Tile Texture, adjust X and Y to your liking /
Animate the Growth of the Sweep NURBS Object.

Regards
Nolan
