How Do I Animate Cloned Objects on A Spline?
by Jackson Shnelst on May 8, 2009 at 4:19:12 am

Hey guys,

Sorry for the basic question, i'm just beginning in C4D.

I figured out how to animate an object like a cube on a simple spline, by applying the "Align to Spline" Tag and then animating the Position %. IT works fine.

My problem is figuring out how to have multiple copies or clones of the cube all along the path, evenly spaced, and all animating along the spline as one object. I tried messing with the Clone Object and Instance Object, but can't seem to figure it out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

With the Cloner object you can animate the offset parameter, or you can use a spline effector and animate the offset parameter.
