MOGRAPH: Shader Effector Alpha with the Random Effector
by Bert Brown on Nov 20, 2008 at 10:51:14 pm

How can I link up the Shader Effector's alpha to be what defines the Random Effector's area to randomize?

So it's almost like the Shader Effector becomes the "falloff" object for the Random Effector, so that anything with in the shader's shape does not get randomized.

What you need to do is turn the Shader Effector's "weight transform" parameter up to 100% (parameter tab), and then go into the Random effector's Falloff tab and reduce it's weight to 0%.
