Heli Rotor Rotation

Hi guys,

I'm trying to create a loop for a helicopter's main rotor rotation, however when I translate the instructions here into cinema 4d I don't get the result I want, i.e. a smooth loop. The blades tend to go backwards at some point in the animation (and it's not just the temporal artifact i'm observing).

Any ideas on how to do this?
