Emitter
by Karl Goldshmidt on Sep 4, 2008 at 11:01:44 pm

Hello All,
I would like to know if someone can help me with some info related with the emitter particles in cinema 4D

I have a running cycle horse of 15 frames and what I'm trying to do is to give that sensation of smoke/dust whenever the horse feet hits the floor.

I already attached a null into their feet and an emitter for each one of those as well.

The problem I found is, in my first 15 frames it's beautiful, but after the first 15 frames animation I don't have the emitter control to cycle the smoke/dust over the timeline....any ideas?

Thank you!

if you have Thinking Particles you could just emit when it gets close to the ground like this simple example

Here's a new version with some comments added in the XPresso. You really need to dig around in TP to understand all it can do but it's not hard really. Xpresso is easier if you've done some scripting before but if you dig into it a bit it's also not hard (said the guy who's done some scripting before :-) just start small and build.
