connect hypernurb object to a non hypernurb object
by zach gunter on Aug 29, 2008 at 5:23:34 pm

My subject basically says it all. I have a Hammer that the Head of the hammer is a cube that has been modified and put into a hypernurb. The handle on the the other hand is fine without a hypernurb. but I want them to connect. what would be the easiest way?

The simplest thing is to make the head or handle be the child the other object, When you move the parent object the child moves with it. Or you can create a Null Object and put the handle and the head in as Children of the Null. Then when you move/rotate etc. the null it all moves as one unit.

I know how to make them move together, But I'm wanting their points to connect, So it will be one object.

you'd have to make the hyperNurb editable so you can use poly tools to join them.
