animate texture?

Hi
this is probably really simple but I can't figure it out: I have a reflective material that I've enhanced using an image in the environment channel. I'd like to animate the image across the face of the object to give the reflection a bit of life while the object is static. What's the best way to do this?
thanks

AFAIK there's no way to animate an environment map short of using animated footage. What you can do, though, is map your enviro map to a sphere surrounding your scene, give the sphere a compositing tag with "seen by camera" unchecked. Then set the tag's exclusion tab to "include" and drag in the object that you want to receive the reflection. Finally, animate the rotation of the surrounding sphere.

I create a null that I parent everything in the scene to, including the camera and the lights. Rotate and keyframe the null and the environment will change.
