modeling preview messed up

i don't know if this is happing to anyone else but here we go. I have a Mograph text object with a spline wrap around a circle. sometime when i move within the perspective view the text makes these hour glass shapes. when i click in the window sometimes it will correct itself, other times i have to do a quick render to see if it is actually messed up, which it isn't. If i knew how to post projects on here i could show you what i mean.
