depth map adjustment

Hey guys

I'm trying to adjust the depth map for a virtual scene that has been projection mapped onto geometry, and I can't figure out how. Basically, when I output a depth map, I get a very small gradient on the bottom of the screen, where the floor is, but I need it to flow back into the geometry.

I'm working in 32 bit, and I'm trying to up the exposure in AE, and it isn't working.

Thoughts?

The depth pass depends on the camera's depth settings. As it happens I did a small video tutorial on this a few months ago, which you can see here:
