Show All Animated (Keyframes)
by Mike Lister on Apr 7, 2008 at 3:06:25 pm

Hi all,

In 9.5/9.6, you had the ability to "Show all animated" keyframes in the Timeline.

Is this possible in 10.1/10.5?

thanks

Brian,

thanks for this...but this only seems to work when you hilight something in your Object palette.

i hope this makes sense.

i know if 9.6 you could just click in the timeline and hit show all keyframes w/o hilighting anythign in the oject palette.

it saved time when you can't really remember where your keyframes are set.

There are a few extra steps in 10+. You have to have both "show animated" and "automatic mode" activated. Even then it won't show material and some other tracks by default. You have to go to the TL's view menu and select "one level up" or "main level."

Hopefully I'm not stating the obvious here but also be aware that Show Animated (with Automatic Mode on) toggles between showing all objects in the scene and only the animated ones. With Automatic Mode off you have drag the object in (or right-click/Animation/Show Track) to see keys/curves.
