banding issues!!

Hi all,
i see banding on images when i create any objects in cinema 4D or any image in photoshop which has gradient.
my system has NVIDIA QuadroFX 550 gfx card and i have an LCD monitor

any pointers will be much appreciated!!

Have you already checked if you are running your monitor at the full 24 Bit color depth?

(sorry was shifting house hence the delay in replying)
yes my monitor display is set to 24bit
