applying animated textures
by Michael on May 17, 2005 at 8:34:12 pm

If anyone can help me find out what I'm doing wrong, I'd very much appreciate it. I'm having trouble creating animated textures.
I know exactly what to do when creating an animated texture. but it only works when I use as a texture, simple animations that I created using cinema4d.
when I try to use an animation which I have created, each frame painstakingly painted pixel by pixel, it dosn't work.

The type of file is a gif.
It's location is C:Documents and SettingsMy Documents

width 48 pixels
height 48 pixels
horizontal resolution 96 dpi
vertical resolution 96 dpi
bit depth 32
frame count 6

it may not sound very large, but it did take a lot of hard work.
so I hope this information helps, thanks.

I think you will have to find a way to change your gif's into Quicktime or avi's. Quicktime pro can do that, I don't know what else might on a pc.
