I've got a medium-large gig that shoots tomorrow and a bunch of post scheduled, plus the fact that I'll be out of state twice between now and the end of the year.
So I'm kinda roped between now and years end.
That said, i'd be happy to host a sort of "New Years Kickoff" gathering the first or second week of January at the studio and surrounding lawns if the group wants to meet and socialize.
Evening barbeque or pot luck thing perhaps?
Let me know and I'll brush off the meeting screen and projector.

That sounds like a great idea Bill. David Wegley and myself are the lucky volunteers for helping Ray and Scott with FCPUG meetings. Having a get together to start off the new year would be great. How does Thursday, Jan 21st sound?

It is a great idea. I don't have anything in the works for a holiday meeting.
Nothing is on my radar until after the holidays.
