Part Time Editor Needed Phoenix

Union Digital is looking for a talented, creative editor to join our team part time. This is a part time, hourly position with a varied, project dependent schedule.
Candidates must:
- have extensive knowledge of Final Cut Pro
- understand how to work with DVCAM, DVCPRO25/50, DVCPRO HD, BetaSP, Digital Betacam, HDCAM, Panasonic P2 and Red formats
- understand proper workflows for SD, HD, and their different frame rates and aspect ratios
- understand the basics of color correction for broadcast legal video and reading a vectorscope and waveform
- understand mastering projects to broadcast tape formats, and DVD
- have a willingness to learn, self-learn and problem solve
- understand analog and digital audio and video connections
- have reliable transportation
- understand compression for DVD and the web
- be creative in their approach, yet understand how to tell a story and understand dialog timing
- work well with clients and be driven to take a project to the next level
- have a good attitude, be self-motivated and deadline driven
Additional knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Red Cine/Alert, DVD Studio Pro and Apple Motion and Apple Color are pluses.
This position pays $35/hour.

No problem. We're getting lots of responses. We're planning on setting up interviews next week as we review the people we've gotten contacted by this week.
I still owe you a big thanks for hooking us up with Chris Poisson last year for that infomercial we were working on.
