LOOKS LIKE IT'S A GATHERING!
Well, as of today (8) people think this is a good idea...so that's enough for a
meeting and a small party.
Here are the details:

Meeting Agenda
1. WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR THIS YEAR: Come prepared to talk about the one
plug-in, piece of hardware, stock footage dvd, website or other production
related subject that your are most thankful for having and or finding this year.
If the item needs to be seen to be understood, please prepare something on DVD
or hard drive. (PS: Let me know so that I can make Ray lug his
equipment....oh, Ray...ummm....read the note below)
2. NEW YEARS RESOLUTION: Come prepared to discuss or bring questions about the
codec, resolution, or compression that you use and like most or annoys and
confuses you most.
3. TO NAB OR NOT NAB, THAT IS THE QUESTION: Try to think about whether or not
you're going and we can discuss if people want to plan the same hotels, travel
or just ignore each other once we're there. Discussion of what to actually see
while you're there will come up in future meetings.
4. EAT DRINK AND BE MERRY. That's it, no explanation.
I will make various treats and finger foods. I can supply some beer and soda,
feel free to bring a beverage of your choice.
Note to Ray: If we want to make this in any way a formal sit down meeting with
projection etc. I woefully lack the following. 1)Projector 2)Screen 3)Chairs
4)The know how.
Please continue to respond if you are coming so that I can adjust food and drink
as necessary.

Sorry, I'm not going to be able to make it. I will be jet setting to Tulsa to see the fam for the holidays.
As for the agenda: here are my answers ;-)
1. I'm thankful for my family and that it's been a good year but 2008 is going to be Great. Great in 2008!
2. My resolution this year is to lose some weight and to finish up the major project I'm working on now.
3. Definitely going to NAB. I don't know about staying at the same hotels unless it is cheap. Since I have to pay my own way, I stay at the best deal for the most part. I always look forward to seeing everyone though.
4. I always try to be merry but the most I will most likely get to eat and drink at the time will bag of pretzels/peanuts and soda.
