Logic Crashing - Exporting Files

Logic is crashing whenever I try to export audio files as AIFF or WAVE files from a simple 4 track project. Anyone have an idea what could cause this?

instead of exporting the track have you tried BOUNCING the track? does it happen if you do it that way?
