Snip = split?

I'm new to Logic, and as usual I'm learning on the job.
How do you cut up a track into segments to rearrange or shorten?

Use the scissor tool. I changed my keyboard shortcuts so I dont know what the default is. If you make the scissor tool a shortcut and the pointer a shortcut you can switch between the two real fast and have a smooth workflow.
