Export from FCP into Logic
by Darrin J on May 8, 2005 at 10:23:06 pm

Hi,

I need to export Dv footage from FCP HD into Logic 6 on my mate's Mac. After reading up on the likes of this:

http://discussions.info.apple.com/webx?128@11.AEXoa9ozSyq.3@.689ef45f

it seems that giving him an exported quicktime movie is all i can do? Is there anyway so adding markers and getting them into Logic 6?

Cheers, Darrin

Have you considerd individually exporting the tracks in you timeline. IE. A qt audio file for 1&2, 3&4, 5&6 and so on.

This will not give handles but it will show silences.

Export a QT of your show with picture and the full mix for reference and put 2 beeps on all the audio tracks to line it up.

David

I believe there is a command that marks all of the scene changes in a clip. I believe it works through differenting contrast. Cer5tainly not markers but handy in scoring.
