Which Nanoflash file flavor for Adobe Premiere?
by Paul Steinberg on Oct 13, 2009 at 12:31:42 pm

I know Premiere CS3 and CS4 support MXF files but they're not able to open the 50Mb long-gop MXF dailies I recorded on a commercial job yesterday. I'm using Sony's MXF viewer software to watch the stuff but I have Premiere on my system to play around with and if I ever wanted to play around with some of this material I wanted to know which file settings can import into Premiere CS3 or CS4? Any idea if Adobe are adding universal support for the Nanoflash?

Hi Paul-
You will need the Main Concept CODEC plugin to support our 50/100 Mbps Long-GOP files in Adobe Premiere. The plugin should be released very shorty. You should then set the nanoFlash to record MXF files.

Best-
