hi
i'm working on an Avid MC 2.7 without a MOJO on a PC.
my working resolutions are PAL and 1080i/p on 25fps
i'm not worried about real time or render times during work (as my workstation is Dual Opteron with 4G RAM).
lately i had to start working from from SDI, component & fire wire sources (25fps).
does the HD connect LE is a good replacement for the MOJO?
should i prefer a different model?
can i capture 1:1 resolution with it?
can it work with 24p projects?
finally, does any one know about other problem that might pop?

Hi Mindmaze,
The HD-Connect LE is not a good replacement for the Mojo. The LE is a unidirectional converter (HDV to HD/SD-SDI) meant primarily for NLE ingest of HDV material for easier editing. The LE does let you output HDV from your Avid system and get HD/SD-SDI output in real time.
