question to everyone. With this setup (after the i/O HD comes out in July)FCP Studio 2, AJA i/O HD, Canon XL H1, Mac Book Pro which Convergent Design product do i choose seeing that the XL H1 doesn't embed the audio? Thank you

The HD-Connect SI is the best choice for the Canon XL H1. The SI deos HDV -> HD/SDI (with embedded audio and time code). The SI box also has RS-422 to 1394 deck control translation, so you can control the camera directly from FCP, including batch captures.

Got the KONA LHe last week and we are going to purchase the HD-Connect SI. Question is does this get connected to the KONA LHe, or the camera itself, and how does it work with the HD-SDi being connected from the camera to the KONA LHe?
