hvr-m25u and MCA deck control

I need to be able to batch capture from an avid adrenaline 2.5 via the hvr-m25u. Can convergent design make this happen? Is it frame accurate?

if you use the HD-Connect-MI, this will work, but it will be a SLOW process. The VTR transport is not fast, like what you are used to from a Beta 1800, or what you can expect from the new Sony HVR-1500 HDV VTR, which uses the Sony DSR-1500 transport. Will it work - yes, will the picture be fantastic - yes. But will it be fast (will you pull your hair out, while the VTR cues up) - no, it won't be fast.
