Connect LE audio pops and video jumps

Hello

I've just started working with the connect LE.

Im getting Audio pops and image flickering..

Im digitizing footage shot on a JVC HD 100U @ 720p24
My FCP capture settings are DVCPRO 720p59.94

any Ideas?

Im have a deadlie of this weekend

Ummm...is there a reason why you wouldn't just work with 24fps in editing?

I've solved the audio pops..

I would edit in 24... if that was possible with the JVC HD 100U in FCP

Now the Convergent connect LE won't capture the tapes..
everytime it hits a TC break or Gop break it wont recapture.

a 15 min interview I tried to capture only ingested 3 min..

hummmm is right..

Hi Michael-
Do you have the latest firmware in your box? Have you done a recent update?

Have you selected FCP as the Deck Control device (using the LE controller application)? You can download these from our website. The LE defaults to "Avid" as the RS-422 controller, you need to change it to FCP.

I'll monitor the forum this weekend if you still run into problems.

Hi Mike..

Its me Michael Ruiz..
You sent me the box overnight to Manhattan Beach.

I did set it to FCP in the controller interface. I made sure the
firmware was updated.

Any Ideas..

I could leave my email and we could tackle this quickly.

I'm trying to contact a engineer at one of the post houses
here in Hollywood to make conversions to a more stable tape
with restriped TC.
