SDI Unlock warning in stand-alone mode
by Paul van Hertum on Oct 4, 2005 at 1:45:50 pm

I've seen the following, but I don't understand why it happen.

SD_Connect, serial number 006035022AE9 and 006035022AC6, both with software 1.1.218 and firmware 1.15.

Running in stand-alone mode. PAL.
Set direction: IN --> OUT
Input settings: Video SRC SDI, Audio SRC SDI, Video Proc Amp in default.

The SDI source is a Sony J3 deck. (Digibeta Player)

Converter works well on all outputs, but the errordisplay flash constantly: "SDI VIDEO UNLOCKED"

There is no difference if the unit run in internal or external sync mode.

What do I wrong ?

Thanks
Best Regards
Paul

Hi Paul,
We are aware of this issue. It is purely cosmetic. In unidirectional mode this message flashes all the time. It has to do with the difference between unidirectional and bidirectional. We will put a fix in for this issue shortly.
