L.A. XSAN IT Support Recommendations

My house is looking for a new IT support company to help us with our upgrade to XSAN2/Promise RAID from XSAN 1.4.2 as well as some other jobs. The company we had worked with is no longer an option.

contact SanTech. They are based in Irvine but have affiliates around Los Angeles. www.santech.tv---- Apple has learned how to do their xsan migrations from those guys.

We had some problems with our SAN a week ago and I got Shane's name from a colleague in LA. Shane didn't know who we were, but spent an hour on the phone with my IT guy and remote desktop to diagnose and fix our SAN. We were up and running again within an hour or two.
So thanks again Shane, still haven't seen an invoice from you for your time yet!

I recommend a hybrid approach of hiring a pro like Shane for the migration but also hiring a local XSAN house for a yearly support contract. This way you are covered when there is an issue that needs prompt resolution.
