Vray Models without V-ray

I do not have vray yet but saw some nice vray models on the net.

Will they still render with the standard 3d max renderer?

When a model says it is a VRay Model - it is only referring to the materials.
Load the model and it will appear all black but you can assign standard Max or Mental materials to it.
The mesh will be as standard.
