Seeing Noise Articles In Render
by Adam Hofmann on May 15, 2009 at 6:08:09 am

I have a project where I'm animating falling photographs. Here's a video of a test render:

http://www.rookmpc.com/videos/picturetest2.mov

I need help on many things:

-Why are there noise pixels in my renders?
-Why do my renders look like crap. The shadow gradients on the back of the photos are terrible.
-The shadows are terrible and disappear before the picture has settled on the ground.
-How do i get realistic shadows and realistic light, because when the back of a photo isn't facing the light it becomes black instantly and it shouldn't.

Any help would be great!
