Render Speed

I'm new to 3ds Max, don't have V-Ray and need some ideas on how to speed up the rendering time. I have an animation (some spaceships) with a minute duration. I'm currently trying to render an avi file, HDTV 1280x720.The rendering time is estimated at 32 hours. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

Hi cory

I have come up to some materialistic conclusion of how to increase the rendering speed using v-ray.

I just need to refer it on my laptop, may be by the end of day I will come back to you.

It is just a matter of changing some settings on V ray pannel

If you have any other computers in your house you could set up a mini render farm.

Or buy a £500 graphics card and all the ram you can stuff in! ;)
