camera not found in video post
by jameswpb on Jul 26, 2006 at 5:38:56 pm

Hi all. I'm having some difficulty in video post, 3dsmax 7. Simple planet animation that I am trying to add a starfield to. I add scene event, then I add filter event (starfield) Camera01 is selected in the view for the scene event and the source for the filter event. When I execute the sequence I get an error message saying 'camera not found' Any help is greatly appreciated.

5 minutes after I posted this question, I went into starfield and reselected camrea01 and now it works. ??? I guess it was just something weird going on. Or pehaps user error.

This is due to a bug in the starfield filter. As you discovered, the workaround is going back into the starfield filter setup and re-selecting the camera (even if it seems to already be selected).
