FS-100 in PN Mode w/HDX900

I recently bought an FS-100 160Gb for my HDX900. I am wondering
how to make sure the FS-100 is in 720/24PN mode(or 30PN)? The
display on the FS-100 shows 720/60p, Final Cut Pro shows 59.94.
I have the HDX900 in TC Free Run, UB Frame Rate.
FS-100 settings are:
HDD Rec. Mode--DVCPRO HD
DV File Format--Quicktime PN .mov
Control--Tapeless
VFR--24P
TC-TC Ext.
I've tried VFR--Off, TC--TC Int. with no change.
What am I doing wrong? What about the audio mute issue?

There is no 24PA mode with the HDX900, but there is a 1080/24PA,
which the Firestore cannot record in native mode.
The 720/24PN mode is working now, I learned that VFR is to be
left in the off position otherwise audio is muted, time code
in EXT, settings specific to using the Firestore in 24PN or 30PN must be used with the HDX900.
So, I'm happy to say that my 160Gb FS-100 can record 6.5 hours
of 720/24PN footage in either P2 PN mode or Quicktime PN mode.
The latter makes ingest very simple as well as just checking
playback on any computer with Quicktime. I think the PN mode
is one of the best features of the FS-100.
