Hey Guys,
I'm a long time user of GarageBand and consider it an amazing resource for all musicians. As an avid user of GarageBand, like many here, I am very familiar with a lot of the loops that come stock with the program. I felt it necessary to make it known the misuse of GarageBand that has been going on lately. My editorial is about big companies and products that use GarageBand loops in their commercials with little to no alteration of the loops. I know this is perfectly legal, given Apple's terms of use. However, I don't think it is right. Please give it a read and let me know what you guys thing. Cheers!

We use them all the time in projects because it's legal and all of the loops can also be used in Soundtrack Pro. I don't have a problem with it at all.

Hey walter,
I appreciate your reply. I don't mean to say the use of the loops is wrong in commercial settings, because the loops can be altered and messed around with to great success. Rather, what is wrong is the lazy method that seems to be more common: Dragging and dropping "Pop Drums 01" and "Heavy Guitar 01" into a project, calling it day, and cashing the check. I hope this clears it up.
