Striping 2 G-Raids Together

Hi All,
I have two 500gig G-Raid drives that I would like to stripe together in the Windows environment. I have read postings that imply this is possible, but I have not been able to figure out how to do it with the Windows Disk Management Utility. I have read that the first step in the process is to designate each volume that you want to stripe as a dynamic disk. The problem is this; the Windows Disk Management Utility will not allow a “removable” disk to be designated as such. I would appreciate any advice on the subject.
I might add that the reason I am trying to do this is to get even faster drive performance without purchasing any more hardware at the moment. Will striping the two drives together actually achieve that? There is an article / review in the COW from Walter Biscardi that seems to imply that this is the case, but he was using a MAC.
I appreciate any advice or insight you may have on this.

I submitted this question to G-tech support and this is the answer that I received:
It should be possible using Disk Management, but we do not have instructions for the process. At the very least the drives would need to be reformatted and all data would be erased in the process. The drives should show as local drives as all hard drives do, so the removable part shouldn’t apply.
Striping the 2 drives will not improve performance. It is more likely to lower the transfer rate as you will be doubling the traffic on the USB or Firewire bus.
