Can G-RAID mini or G-Drive mini be powered by Tekkeon batteries?

How can I make this happen? What's the step-by-step approach and the correct adapters necessary?
Need DC battery power to run some firewire drives this summer in
Galapagos Islands. Trying to transfer P2 data from HVX200/Toshiba laptop to small firewire drives. Can Tekkeon MP3300 or MP3400 "Mobile Power" batteries be compatible somehow with G-RAID firewire drives? Anybody try this with cerain adapters. Thanks in advance for ANY help.

the drives should power from the FW buss directly as long as it is 6pin FW 400 or FW 800, in my experience on USB needs to have a separate power supply.

Gary, I believe that I've got only 4-pin firewire from my HVX or laptop, so I understand they won't provide power to the drives. Now
my question is: Can the G-Drive Mini (with the 5-volt DC input) be
powered separately from the Tekkeon 3300 or 3400 mobile battery system? Does Tekkeon have a compatible adapter/voltage option to
power the little G-Drive mini?

you are correct about the 4pin connection not carrying power.
I do not know about the battery power, or the available options.
Contact Clark at Gtech and ask him about the specifics
