Striping 2 G-raids as a Raid

I'm almost ready to strip two of my 500 gig G-raids together. I have a G4, Dual 1.25 and 2 Adaptec 8300, FW-800 cards in it. Could anyone comment on the procedure, and/or possible issues I could run into. Also, I have a third FW-800 card that I'm still hoping to use on it's own.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Well carry on then Nick please, as I'm just about to buy a pair of 500GB ones.

These are to replace a faulty Weibe 4 way Baydock that has been nothing but trouble.
