Josh, that's some great work. When I watched the reel it was too fast for me to keep up with and process. The transitions between cuts of pieces was so quick I couldn't appreciate the complexity of the sample. Slow it down a bit and give more complete pieces.

Great work Josh. A few things:
I would cut it together as one montage rather than two, since there isn't that much of a difference in the work in the two sections. You could stand to cut everything down into a really tight 30-45 second piece.
I think you should loose the graphics with a lot of information in them, especially that squid soap near the end.

I really appreciate direct feedback like that.
Unfortunately I have almost finished a second cut with different music and longer shots. I read the advice on other posts and decided to group similar shots together and take more time on shots I like. I didn't get your advice until I was almost finished. But what you said is very helpful.
The new music plays out to 1:12.
I will post a second cut soon and if you are still hanging around the forum I would like to know if you have the same comments.
I still have some heavy info cards and I would like to know if they are still hard on the eyes at this slower pace.
