Menus unreliable
by Mike Rathbone on Sep 4, 2007 at 10:34:13 pm

We have authored a DVD using DVDit which works perfectly on a computer but not on a desktop DVD player.

One screen has a total of 23 clickable (text) icons on it, none of which overlap. When played on a computer, we can scroll around all the icons and play each one. However, on three different desktop DVD players, we cannot access past the 13th icon.

Any ideas?

We are runing DVDit Pro version 6.1 on Windows XP.

mike, push 13 or 14 on your remote and hit enter? does it select that button? then push "menu" to take you back to the menu and it should land on the 13th or 14th button (unless you are force selecting button 1). I am curious what happens if you scroll once you are on button 13 or 14.

did you double check your button routing?

Yes, you were right.

We found a couple of numbers wrong in the button routing, causing the menus to play up.

Thank you for your help!
