freezes when adding subtitles

Hi,
I'm new at encoding DVD's and so far have gad no problem with Dvdit6 Pro. I've been able to add muntiple audio, motion menuses everything but subtitles. I read the manual and followed the imortiong of the scrippts exactly, however when I try to compliel the dvd it freezes and gives me the error missmatched streams -19023. Anybody have anty idea what this means?
To save time: I already reinstalled dvdit, after running a reg cleaner. and trhe video and audio of the movie compiles fine without subs.

not sure what the error is.
In the timeline for the movie with subtitles, do the subtitle appear to be the same length as the movie?
did you open up the subtitles in DVDit to see if anything odd was going on with them. you can right click on the subtitle track and select Add/Edit subtitles. I am curious whether they are all in there properly...

Thanks for answereing so quickly.
The subs end before the movie, there are no subs during the end credits. When I run the simulation everything works perfectly. The sub are timed exacly and the voices are in synch on both audio tracts.
The file, itselfs, is an anime fan dub/sub that was originally a Matroska file that I extracted to avi using MKVextractGUI.
