Question regarding proper 16:9 resolutions
by Logbytes on Feb 23, 2006 at 12:18:08 am

Hallo,

I am currently creating a 3D animation in 16:9 format. I have used the 1/777 ratio, and I calculated a value of 720 x 405 pixels to render to. I have never used 16:9 renders before, so could someone tell me if this is a proper screenresolution to use for a DVD-distribution? Are there standards in 16:9-resolutions which the industry uses?

Thank you at forehand,

Logbytes

Thank you for your respond, SS Scott. Do I have to send the question to Alex (Alexander?), or will he read this question in time?

I am new at this forum, that is why I ask.

Thank you at forehand,

Logbytes
