So, this guy approached me the other day after seeing some of my youtube videos and asked me if I could make a Trailer for his companys upcoming game. I had made a few videos of games out of for fun before so I know how to do this. Basically he wants me to film inside the game with a screen recorder called fraps and then edit the footage together add some text etc. He provides the music. Thing is, I'm not sure what I should charge for this, should I treat it like I'm filming something in real life, because it is much cheaper and easier doing it on a computer. What do you guys think?
It's a small company just to note, their trailer won't be big on TV or anything, just around the net.

$50 an hour, John. But, be honest with your time, both to you and the "client". But, try to determine how many hours it's gonna take and figure a dollar amount. Once you both agree, get 1/3 in advance and give it your best effort. Get the second third when you have it all roughed out. Get the final 1/3 upon delivery.
Good luck.
