Time-coded window dub transcription recommendations
by Bruce Bennett on May 19, 2008 at 8:26:51 pm

Hello All,

I have lots of interviews for a project that I’m working on. I’m looking for recommendations for DVD time-coded window dub transcription services.

Thank you,
Bruce

Bruce,

Production Transcripts has always done me and all those I've turned onto them well. They are consumate pros. http://www.productiontranscripts.com/contact.php

Phillip Glau is my contact. Give him a jingle so you are assured of ordering exactly the right thing.

As I recall, ordering single person interviews with TC and specifying that legal accuracy is not imperative can be a lot cheaper than if you don't specify such stuff.

I've used www.transcriptionstudio.com for transcriptions and captioning, and have been extremely pleased with the service. They have been very easy to work with, very quick and very accurate.

They are based in LA, but, you can upload the file to their FTP site with one click, and they email the transcription back to you.
