Hello everybody,
I have a series of 10 segments of 2min each and a Cable channel want to buy them. They are asking for a price (for all of them) and I dont know the range of the prices in the market.
Is there a price if they want to have them exclusively and a different one if they only want the license, right? Can you help me with some price ideas?
The channel is part of a network like Discovery, Food Network, Style (so they are kind of big) and the segments are about handcraft, so is not that expensive to produce. They want my product because the style and what we do is unique.

Ask them to make you an offer. Really, it won't be much based on what you have described primarily because of the length, but a sale to a major cable channel is a feather in your cap you can use to drum up new biz.
You aren't going to be paying off any cars with this deal I suspect.
