Willie,
Thanks for this. I had no idea that it was even there. :-)
It isn't exactly what I need it is more of an old radio
broadcast, what I need is a fighter pilot talking over a radio.
However, it is a good place to start.

Mark,
There are a couple other filters as well, one is in the FFT filters and it's called TELEPHONE ... I would play with the settings I think you might end up being successful and get the sound you are looking for ... If you have P Pro on your computer you have the VST filters and in the MULTIBAND COMPRESSOR there is another voice filter as well ................ WILLIE

You want to be in the wave mode (not multi track) and choose the effects menu and from there you can choose SPECIAL / DISTORTION and use the effect called SHARP FUZZ to give it that static sound of radio cb type transmission. Then you can go into EFFECTS again, FILTERS and choose the effect OLD TIME RADIO to equalize it to sound like an old radio transmission. You will have to adjust the effects to get the right sound you're looking for. That should do it. Also, when recording the voice, you'll want to set it up so that the talent isn't speaking directly into the microphone...give it that far away feeling, to eliminate the bass in the voice. The key is to get as much of the bass out of the signal as you can......
