glow around PIP

glow around PIP

Hello,

Trying to get up to speed with sapphire. Is it possible to have glow effect the outer edges of a picture in picture effect? Host app is FCP.

Ok so I think I figured out one method...and again this is in fcp. Create a white matte below PIP clip. Nest clip and matte. Apply effect to nest clip. Adjust glow settings to "Glow under source" and there you are...

how does this sound to the experienced saffire/fcp folks out there?

Select glow under clip as you suggested but also select 'use alpha'
Put the smaller picture on a seperate track above the main picture.
