Exporting Mattes

Ok here is a new one. After tracking and creating a matte in Mokey using mulitple layers, the layer edges show up in the matte. The edges are overlapped and the matte looks clean inside of Mokey. It is only when I export it to a targa or tiff sequence or directly to the Quantel EQ that I see the edges of the layers. Has anyone else seen this problem? It would seem there must be a button that needs to be turned off or some kind of exporting option. I have tried many different options but am stumped by this one. Please let me know.
