hair removal
by Dan RAPAPORT on Sep 26, 2005 at 1:47:57 pm

hello,
I read the tutorial about removing the air.
But how should I work if I had a static hair but the background behind is moving all the time?
Is there a way to reconstruct a cleanplate? Should I use a newcleanplate every 10 or 20 images?
My sequence is 720 frames long.
Thanks

Dan

This is simpler than the tutorial. (hint do the wire removal tutorial for a very complex example)

You only need 2 tracking elements.

1) background (if you keep it tight to what you need Mokey will work faster)
2) The hair (since it doesn't move use a tight spline and select does not move in the tracking options).

The hair should now be removed via object renoval.
