Z1 focusing on background;(

Hi,

I have a Sony Z1 which have been using for several years. Recently I am finding the autofocus seems to be sometimes focusing on background. I did recently get the back focus adjusted but cant remember if these two things considered. Could it be because I had peaking on? I have tried to do some experiments at home but this is intermittent and seems to only happen if the field.

Any ideas?
