whats the EasySetup capture settings for canonXH A1 shot at 25fps?

Hi,
this is a basic question but I cant get a basic answer, or at least no one seems to agree. Ive searched the forums but am still confused!
I have shot footage on the canon XH A1, at 25fps and am capturing it from a canon HV20 onto a new imac using Final Cut Pro 7. When i do the easy set up and set the 'format' to 'HDV', the 'rate' to '25.00fps' a number of options come up in the 'use' box. I have narrowed it down to 3 possible ones, but im not sure which is right:
'HDV - 1080i50 (use this Easy Set up when working with 1080i HDV source material at 25 fps and using Firewire for input/output of audio and video with Device Control set the Sony HDV FireWire.)'
'HDV - 1080i50 FireWire Basic (use this Easy Set up when working with 1080i HDV source material at 25 fps and using Firewire for input/output of audio and video with Device Control set to HDV FireWire Basic.)
'HDV - 1080p25 FireWire Basic (use this Easy Set up when working with 1080p HDV source material at 25 fps and using Firewire for input/output of audio and video with Device Control set to HDV FireWire Basic 25fps.)'
Any ideas?
Since we shot at 25fps does this mean we should use the 1080p setting, as this is the progressive setting? or since we can select 1080i AND a frame rate of 25fps, is this the right setting? The XH A1s website says: The XH A1S delivers 1080i HD recording with selectable frame rates of 50i and 25F.
So which do i use?
And by 'device control' does it mean the canon HV20? I cant see anything about FireWire, basic or otherwise on the menu. In the play/out setup1 the playback is set to STD, and i can't change it. Should it be set to HDV? I remember this being an option before, but im not sure as for some reason it will no longer let me into that menu. If I need to change it, how do i do this, now that it has blocked me accessing it?
TV type is 16:9
Output ch is L/R
Audio out is ST-1
In the play/out setup2 the comp. out setting is at 1080i
The camera will no longer let me go into the DV output menu, although i set it earlier so that it wouldn't down convert. It wont show me what its set to now though.

sorry, just to correct myself. The playback is not set to standard. I was confused. The 'playback standard' in the 'Play/out setup 1' menu cant actually be accessed any more. I have a memory that i set it to 'HDV' but all that appears now is '---' and i can't change this, so Im not sure what the 'Playback Standard' is. Do you think its still 'HDV' or do i need to set it again somehow? And if so, how, if it wont let me on the menu?

sorry again - worked out the last part of the problem - you cant change the playback standard setting while the firewire is plugged in. Took it out and can now change settings fine - but still dont know which Easy setup to use. . .
