HDMI to Laptop with DV Rack HD

We are now shooting on AVCHD Cameras with no firewire out for monitoring to our laptops equipped with DV Rack. We would upgrade to the HD version or the Adobe equivalent, but have no way to get there. We are PC based. Does anyone know of a similar product that can monitor/capture to an HDMI port on a laptop?

John, might be worth speaking to Convergent Design, somewhere near Denver as they produce great kit for similar purposes I use their HDV to HD converter (HD-Connect, works like a dream)..

I use a Canopus HDMI to HDV converter. It means you get HDV out.

I also use an AJA HD-SDI-> HDMI box so that my M25 deck can now record HD-SDI->HDV
