HDV Sony HVR-V1U footage wont capture in FCP

I recently shot something on hdv 1080i 60i on a Sony HVR-V1U. I'm using
Final Cut Pro 6.0 and capturing with a JVC BR-HD50 deck. I set up the settings according to how I filmed it and get a timecode signal, but i do not see any video. I have also used the Apple Intermediary Codec and have had no luck either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
