HVR a1u condensation messages

I have been trying out an HVR a1u camera, and in normal atmospheric conditions it kept on displaying a condensation message. Is this a glitch in this particular camera, or a general HVR A1u problem?

I've yet to see this message, even in very hot/humid areas such as Deland, Florida.
Is it on all the time?
Where (geographically) are you/is the camera?

I've gotten condensation messages in very humid climates like Honduras, but never before in the U.S. The camera was a demo from Sony, so I wonder if there is a problem with that particular camera. I'm reassured to know that it is an unusual message.
